Filmmaker, Editor, Cameraman, Storyteller
Born in San Luis Potosí, México in 1980 of French father and Mexican mother. In 1996 he emigrated to France where he studied film at Montpellier and Paris Universities. Between 2005 and 2013, he directs 3 fiction short Films: 3 days, Beyond the Mexique Bay (Critics’ week, Cannes, 2008) and Sand. His first short in 16mm 3 days was selected for the 3th Day of Student Film at The Sorbonne. His next short Beyond The Mexique Bay was selected for the Official Selection at the 47th International Critic’s Week in Cannes Film Festival; won the Best Mexican short film Prize at Guanajuato International Film Festival; and was selected in over 40 international festivals. His short film Sand, filmed in French Brittany and supported by the Loire Atlantique Department was premiered in Morelia International Film Festival. He currently works as freelance cameraman, editor and screenwriter between Paris and Mexico City. In 2013, his feature film project “Snail house” was selected in Locarno Filmmakers Academy, the program that invites 25 young directors in the world. "Snail House" was premiered in Morelia International Film Festival 2017 and was sold in various territories.
